How Does the PWP Learning Programme Complement Other Programmes?

Many learning programmes for children focus on teaching specific academic skills. The PWP Learning Programme creates a learning experience in which children do not need to memorise any particular piece of knowledge, and instead they cultivate valuable life skills through play and through interaction with others. They learn empathy, communication and adaptability, through being actively involved in playing board games.

What Ages are the PWP Learning Programme Designed For?

The PWP Learning Programmes are designed for children aged 6 to 12. Children grow and learn at different paces, and it is not always necessary or appropriate to group children by age.

How is the PWP Learning Programme Structured?

The PWP Learning Programmes are grouped into modules. Each module consists of 10 weekly sessions that can be of 1-2 hours long. Typically each module runs over a three months period.

How Large are the Classes?

A class may have 1 to 4 tables. Each table will have one PWP Certified Teacher and four children. This is to ensure the children are able to fully participate and gain the most from the sessions.

What is Required to Become a PWP Certified Teacher?

To become a PWP Certified Teacher, you must complete a training performed by a PWP-authorised trainer, and also pass the mandatory assignments and assessments.

What is Required to Become a PWP Learning Centre?

To become a licensed PWP Learning Centre, you are required to have at least two PWP Certified Teachers and all necessary materials to conduct the PWP Learning Program. Your learning centre must also meet the PWP safety and quality requirements.
